Greenpeace

Our planet is on the brink because of corporate greed.
  • The Arctic is under attack with oil giant Shell and others scrambling to drill at any cost, threatening polar bear cubs, bird migration and the livelihood of many Alaskan villages, who may lose their home forever due to our warming planet.

  • A U.S. firm plans to clear an area of rainforest ten times the size of Manhattan, to produce palm oil in Cameroon, Africa. If this project moves forward it will destroy critical farm land and the home of rare birds and animals, like the Drill Monkey.

  • U.S. coal companies have decided to ship their dirty coal overseas. Coal exports could produce more annual CO2 pollution than the Keystone XL pipeline.
These are global problems that require a global solution. Greenpeace’s mission is to be part of that solution and we have plans to address each of these problems. And as a global organization that doesn’t take a dime from corporations or governments, we are well positioned to make it happen. But we can’t do it without your support.
